WILL Setterfield will bring up his 50th AFL game tomorrow night.

After starting out at GWS, Setterfield moved to IKON Park on the eve of the 2019 season, making his Carlton debut in Round 1 against Richmond.

Having played a number of roles for the Blues since his arrival, his 2022 campaign to date has seen him lock down a role on the wing under AFL Senior Coach Michael Voss.

He has averaged 19 disposals so far this season, including 23 in the Round 2 win against the Western Bulldogs.

Speaking in his weekly press conference, Voss paid credit to Setterfield, who he said had performed an unheralded role strongly so far this season.

“Will’s been really solid,” Voss said.

“He’s played an important role for us that’s been understated.

“There’s been a lot of focus on a lot of other guys in what they’re contributing to the team.

“I’m forever pumping up our small forwards for the pressure they being and giving the accolades to our defenders when they hold on and our mids when they get to their contested work.

“The one guy that gets left out is Will and his role. He’s been a really solid player for us.”
