ALL season, Michael Voss, Patrick Cripps, the wider playing group and the whole Club have consistently spoken about the passion of the Carlton crowd.

With five rounds to go in the season, the numbers back it up.

The Blues currently sit No.1 in the AFL for average crowd attendance this season, with an average tally of 45,269.

Narrowly ahead of Collingwood, Carlton supporters have followed their team in droves this season, evidenced by being part of five of the top 10 most-attended games so far in 2022.

The weekend was further proof of that, when 68,208 people watched the Blues take on the ladder-leading Cats.

The AFL Senior Coach has heaped praise on a vocal Bluebagger contingent all season, crediting the connection they have with the team in crucial moments over the course of the year.

It started with that Round 1 crowd against Richmond, and has remained consistent ever since.

The biggest could still be to come, however. In Round 23, Carlton - which also currently sits second for average home attendance - hosts the old enemy Collingwood in what has all the makings of a day not to be missed.
