CARLTON will play its first AFLW practice match on Saturday 13 August at IKON Park.
The Blues will take on the Demons, who they faced in their final game of season six, falling by the narrowest of margins.
Kicking off at 3:15pm (AEST), Carlton will be looking to build on the positive signs shown that night, finding arguably its best form of the season and taking it to the Grand Finalists right until the final siren.
It will be the first hitout the Game Changers will have ahead of season seven, giving them the chance to blood some new Blues while also undergoing a dress rehearsal before the season opener 12 days later.
In what will be quite a Navy Blue day for Bluebaggers, fans can then go on to the MCG to watch the men's side take on Melbourne. With the 3:15pm start time allowing for ample time to head from IKON Park to the MCG, it will be the first time all AFL and AFLW teams will line up against the same opponent.
