THE CARLTON Football Club has continued its consistent run of re-signings during the AFLW Sign and Trade Period, with three-emerging talents signing on.

Maddy Guerin, Keely Sherar and Brooke Vickers have all committed to two-year contract extensions, that will see them remain at IKON Park until at least the end of 2024.

The trio’s announcement follows that of Mimi Hill, Breann Moody and captain Kerryn Peterson, who have all re-committed in the last week.

Guerin had shown terrific promise in her transition to the midfield towards the end of season six and continued that development last season, before a knee injury cut short her 2022.

Sherar has made a great start to her Carlton career, playing 16 games in her first two seasons, including every game in season eight.

Vickers also played all 10 games last season, finding her role on the wing in her second season at the elite level.

“The playing group have shown terrific unity during this period, and Maddy, Keely and Brooke’s commitments are further testament to that,” Lloyd said.

“All three players have shown good signs in their first few seasons at the Club and are part of what we are looking to build in the coming years.”
