CARLTON has named its extended squad of 26 for Sunday’s clash with Hawthorn.

The Blues have named six inclusions to the squad, which will be trimmed down to a team of 22 - plus four emergencies - at 5pm tomorrow.

Marc Pittonet will be unavailable for selection, having managed a PCL strain since the Gold Coast game. His availability to return will be a week-to-week assessment at this stage.

Matthew Cottrell will serve his one-match suspension, while Paddy Dow (omitted) also comes out of the squad.

Jack Silvagni and Lewis Young loom as potential additions for the injured Pittonet, having both played ruck roles throughout season 2023, while the Blues have added four more potential inclusions.

Potential debutant Jaxon Binns, Ed Curnow, George Hewett and Josh Honey have all been named on the extended bench.

Meanwhile, Sam Durdin and Caleb Marchbank will both return through the VFL this weekend, but Zac Fisher is unavailable after he sustained a hamstring strain at training today. He will be assessed further in the coming days with a timeline on his return to be known next week.
