THE BLUES’ team heading into this weekend’s semi-final is unchanged.

Last week’s huge win over the Williamstown Seagulls has cemented the same team for the second week of finals, and they will now look to conquer Port Melbourne Borough on Sunday afternoon.

An impressive second half to their previous match will have the Blues wanting to perform consistently for four quarters and come out firing.

Having played the Boroughs twice in the home and away season, the Blues will know what to expect.

Standing at one win and one loss against Port Melbourne in the 2023 season, the VFLW side is going to have to execute basic skills flawlessly and hit the scoreboard early on.

Amelia Klingbeil was a major factor in the Blue’s win over Williamstown, making her way through the game with 23 disposals, along with Maddie Di Cosmo - who has never let her form slip - with 25.

Esther Honybun has kicked a goal in the past two games and will certainly be a target on Sunday for the midfield, as well as Christina Bernardi who will most likely face the brunt of Port Melbourne’s defensive focus.

The game kicks off at ETU Stadium at 12:00 pm on Sunday.
