Carlton had a clean sweep of AFLCA votes for Round 19, with Charlie Curnow topping the table with a perfect 10. 

It’s no surprise to Carlton - or footy - fans that the No.30 sat on top for Round 19, after Curnow slotted a career-high 10 goals along with 15 score involvements and eight marks. 

Curnow was close to cracking the double digits the last time the Blues faced the Eagles but ultimately fell one short, with that unfinished business resolved on Saturday afternoon.

Sam Docherty received eight votes as the second-highest-rated player on the field, picking up 29 disposals and gaining 555 metres. 

Starting at the centre bounce, it was Docherty's 12 inside 50s and nine clearances that stood out to the coaches, where he was physical with the opposition and classy with his delivery to finish with nine score involvements. 

He wasn't alone in the middle despite missing some regular faces, with George Hewett awarded six votes.

In the absence of Adam Cerra, Patrick Cripps and Matthew Kennedy this week, the big-bodied midfielder took on the brunt of the bullocking work to finish with a game-high 31 disposals (13 contested), while also posting 10 clearances (another game-high) and 10 score involvements.

Tom De Koning and Nic Newman both received two votes each, completing their roles to a t in their respective positions.

As the main ruckman, De Koning's physicality was on show to deliver career-high totals for disposals (19), contested possessions (14) and clearances (nine).

Newman - who, for the second straight week, slotted a goal from half back - took eight marks and delivered 23 disposals as a key cog of the Blues' back six in the week where he re-signed for another two years.

Adam Saad and Sam Walsh rounded out the vote count with one each. 

The All-Australian half-back showed off his speed and class with ball in hand, as well as his eight intercept possessions and 11 contested possessions. 

Despite only playing one half of football, Walsh’s start was so emphatic that it still saw him feature.

In his short time on the ground, Walsh delivered nine score involvements, three first-quarter goal assists and a major of his own, before a hamstring injury saw him on the bench for the remainder of the game.
