DID somebody say Super Saturday?
It’s going to be a big day to be a Blue at IKON Park this weekend.
Carlton will open its 2023 AFLW season when it hosts Gold Coast at the home of women’s football.
And now, Bluebaggers will be able to see both teams on the one day, with confirmation that the AFL side’s open training session will be held on Saturday morning.
As a new era begins for the Game Changers under AFLW Senior Coach Mathew Buck, the Blues’ 2023 AFL season will continue in its first finals campaign in a decade.
The AFL open training session will begin from 9:30am, with a signing session to follow at 11:30am. Both teams and supporters will also come together for a group photo at 12:40pm in the Legends Stand.
Entry prior to 11am will be free for all members and fans, and is not ticketed.
From 11am, IKON Park will move into event mode ahead of the NAB AFLW match and a ticket or 2023 AFLW membership will be required for entry.
All 2023 Carlton AFLW members entering after 11am can scan in with their AFLW membership.
All 2023 Carlton AFL members will need to redeem a free ticket to be able to enter the venue after 11am. Instructions on how to redeem a free ticket will be included in tomorrow's AFLW team selection email.
Blues fans entering IKON Park after 11am that aren't 2023 members can purchase a $10 ticket via this link. Remember, before 11am is free access with no ticket required.
There’ll be plenty to do at IKON Park over the course of the day, leading directly into the Game Changers’ season opener from 1:05pm.
It’ll be fantastic to see a sea of Navy Blue at Carlton’s home this weekend.
