The Blues have welcomed back defenders Lachie Henderson and Nick Duigan from injury along with ruckman Matthew Kreuzer.
A late omission from last week’s team, Kreuzer was forced to watch from the sidelines after complaining of hamstring tightness, joining Henderson who was sidelined with a groin strain and Duigan with a calf injury, both missing two games with injury.
The trio will replace injured midfielder Heath Scotland who injured his calf in last week’s game in Adelaide, and Paul Bower and Ed Curnow who have both been omitted.
The injured calf is expected to keep Scotland out for up to three weeks.
Carlton has won two of the last five encounters with Geelong, however in the last encounter, Round Nine last year, Geelong prevailed by just 2-points. Carlton’s two wins have been at the MCG while Geelong’s three victories have all been at Etihad Stadium.
