AS THE Blues get ready for their final home game for the 2023 season, the extended squad has been released for Round 10.

Taylor Ortlepp, Maddy Hendrie, Annie Lee, Chloe Wrigley and Daisy Walker are named in the extended squad after Carlton was forced to make some changes to the team that took on Essendon in Round 9.

Carlton’s defence has been dealt a blow, with Paige Trudgeon missing the Round 10 clash with St Kilda on Sunday due to a hamstring injury, whilst Dayna Finn will serve her one-game suspension.

Ortlepp could don the Navy Blue for the first time since Round 4, where she gathered 11 disposals and six contested possessions.

Hendrie and Walker could play their sixth game for the season, whilst Lee and Wrigley would play their first game for the season should they be selected tomorrow.  

This will be Carlton’s fifth encounter with St Kilda, as they look to remain undefeated against the Saints in their AFLW history.

The final 21 will be announced tomorrow at 5:00pm (AEDT).
