WHAT a way to mark your first day as a Blue.
Waking up on Tuesday morning, Ashton Moir was coming to the realisation that he is now a Carlton footballer, planning for his move to Melbourne.
His day got even better when he got quite the surprise around lunchtime.
Former John Nicholls Medallist Bryce Gibbs - who was drafted to the Blues from Glenelg in 2006 - was on hand to officially present Moir with his first Navy Blue jumper, telling the newest Blue he was “very privileged to come and hand you this one”.
Moir’s reaction said it all.
“Oh my God. That’s unreal.”
