TIMES, they are a changing at Carlton.

And so are some numbers too.

The age-old question of who’ll be in what guernsey has now been answered for the 2024 campaign.

The first order of business? Three second-year Blues altering their numbers for next season.

Lachie Cowan - the young defender with all the makings of being a cult hero - has moved from No.26 to No.2.

Not far from him in the locker room is rising star Ollie Hollands, who snapped up the No.4 guernsey after wearing No.14 in year one.

Then there’s VFL Best and Fairest winner Jaxon Binns, who will move into the No.25 locker.

After arriving from new clubs, Orazio Fantasia and Elijah Hollands will fill the No.14 and No.20 jumpers respectively: it’s a familiar number for Elijah, who wore the No.20 for both the Murray Bushrangers and Vic Country.

In his first season since crossing from Ireland, recruit Rob Monahan has been handed the No.34.

The first numbers for Carlton’s trio of draftees were also locked in upon their arrival in the Navy Blue.

Lifelong Bluebagger Matthew Carroll will have the No.32 guernsey, while Rosebud speedster Billy Wilson will wear the No.35 recently vacated by club favourite Ed Curnow.

Rounding things out is first-round selection Ashton Moir, who will look to provide no shortage of thrills in Carlton’s No.43.
