Carlton vs. Collingwood
Grand Final
Saturday 26th September 1981
MCG

It was the day that would win Carlton's second Premiership in three years.

It was the day where the "mosquito fleet" of Buckley, Sheldon, Ashman, Marcou, Glascott and Harmes played their hearts out.

It was the day that Carlton Captain, Mike Fitzpatrick displayed his skills as a ruckman and tapped the ball a good forty metres after the centre-bounce.

It was the day where Carlton not only finished on-top of the ladder, but was also undefeated in the 1981 finals series.
