CARLTON has made one forced change for its Gather Round clash with Fremantle.

Brodie Kemp returns to the line-up, with the young defender impressing at both ends for the Carlton Reserves last week.

He returns to the senior side in place of Caleb Marchbank, who will miss due to concussion.

As the Blues look to break their Adelaide Oval duck, the midfield battle will be crucial, with Carlton’s crop of onballers to come up against the in-form Caleb Serong and Andy Brayshaw.

New dad Patrick Cripps has been named in the Blues’ line-up, while Adam Cerra and Blake Acres will renew acquaintances with their former side in unfamiliar territory.

Charlie Curnow and Harry McKay will again spearhead the forward line after the duo have been in such good form to start 2024.

Jordan Boyd, Jack Carroll, Matthew Cottrell, Corey Durdin and Matthew Owies have been named on the five-man interchange.

Carlton’s sub will be announced an hour before the bounce. The game will kick off from 3:50pm local time (4:20pm AEDT).
