THE CARLTON Reserves have named their final team for their last game of the 2025 campaign.
Bringing an end to their season at Whitten Oval against Footscray, the Blues have made five changes to the team which enjoyed a commanding win over Gold Coast last week.
Despite being named in the initial side, the three carryover AFL emergencies of Mitch McGovern, Marc Pittonet and Will White won’t feature for the VFL Blues, with a short turnaround for the final game of the senior campaign this Thursday night.
However, the Blues will be able to call on the services of Harry Lemmey, with the team’s leading goalkicker to return after recovering from a hamstring injury.
He is one of a handful of inclusions alongside young ruckman Flynn Riley, Nash King, Oliver Warburton and debutant Declan Ayres, a key defender who has spent the season playing for Eltham in the NFNL.
Coming out of the side with the AFL emergencies are the unavailable Will Hayes and Sam Paea, as well as Zac Harding. Ben Camporeale is serving the last game of his four-match VFL suspension.
