CARLTON ruck Hudson O’Keeffe has been rewarded with a spot on the senior list, after an impressive 2025 season.
Making his AFL debut in the Blues’ King’s Birthday Eve clash against Essendon in Round 13, today’s announcement is the deserved recognition for of O’Keeffe’s hard work since arriving at the Club.
Coming to IKON Park as a train on at the start of the 2023 season, the Oakleigh Chargers recruit officially signed with the Blues that year as part of the pre-season supplemental selection period, going on to pen a two-year contract extension midway through 2024.
Regarded for his determination and competitiveness, the 20-year-old played five AFL games this year, kicking his first goal in the Round 22 clash with Gold Coast.
With five contested marks on debut, he possesses strong aerial prowess. Combined with his excellent speed, agility and ground ball ability, he showcases impressive skills for a 202cm athlete.
O’Keeffe was one of seven Blues to make his AFL debut for Carlton this year, the most for the Club in a single season since 2017.
Today’s announcement comes ahead of the 2026 Telstra AFL draft, which occurs next Wednesday and Thursday night at Marvel Stadium.
