The Carlton Football Club today announces a statutory loss of $1,161,364 (2024: $3,017,058 statutory profit), inclusive of $9,273,117 in depreciation and amortisation expenses, for the financial year ended 31 October 2025.

During the year, the Club continued to further diversify and strengthen its revenue base with the investment in and opening of Imaging Associates Carlton, a world-class medical imaging centre being run as a joint venture with Imaging Associates.

While remaining debt free, the Blues also invested available non-operating cashflow into an investment fund, to capitalise on higher returns in excess of the current cash rate, while ensuring the liquidity of the funds invested remains.

For the second consecutive year, the Navy Blue faithful showed their strength in numbers, with the Club surpassing 100,000 members to end the season with 100,743, contributing to a 7 per cent growth in total consumer revenues.

The Carlton community continued to show up, ranking No.2 in the league for home and away attendance for the 2025 AFL season, with a total attendance of 1,147,479. This included an average home game attendance of 62,934 at the MCG, and 32,680 at Marvel Stadium.

Meanwhile the incredible success of the Club’s AFLW program in making it to a Preliminary final saw a significant increase in home and away attendance, with the average crowd 3,073 (up 50% year-on-year) and a total home and away attendance of 37,787 (up 64% year-on-year).

Carlton CEO Graham Wright said the Club was well placed heading into 2026 to focus on ongoing growth and future sustainability.

“First and foremost, I would like to acknowledge and thank our entire Carlton family, whose unwavering commitment to the Club does not go unnoticed. Your resilience and dedication to the Carlton Football Club ensures a stronger, more sustainable football club going forward," Wright said.

“Our membership base continues to be one of our greatest strengths, surpassing 100,000 members for the second consecutive year and we thank each and every one of you for that. The passion reflected by our members and supporters on game day is like no other, and the strong attendances we saw across the MCG, Marvel Stadium and IKON Park were an example of this. Our connection as a proud and passionate community extends beyond match day with a strong showing at our weekly open training sessions, part of our ongoing commitment to continue to provide a strong sense of belonging.

“We strengthened our commercial partnerships this year, welcoming Intuit QuickBooks and Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme as new partners, whilst also extending several long-standing relationships with trusted organisations in IKON Services Australia, Virgin Australia, Anaconda, Big Ant and Penfolds. These partnerships are critical to our long-term sustainability, and we are deeply grateful for the support shown by all our commercial partners this year.

“A major milestone for the Club was the opening of Imaging Associates Carlton at IKON Park, the Club’s joint venture in medical imaging with Imaging Associates. A project years in the making, this established a crucial high-performance asset for our players, while also expanding access to medical imaging for the community and creating an important new revenue stream that strengthens our financial future. We thank everyone who contributed to bringing this vision to life.

“I would also like to acknowledge the continued generosity of our First 18 philanthropic members, who play an essential role in enabling future-focused initiatives across the Club including their support for the Imaging Associates Carlton project.

“Our Carlton Respects program reached new heights this year, with more than 7,000 students participating in the Road to Respect schools' program. This was made possible by funds raised throughout 2024, enabling greater resourcing, extended reach, and enhanced classroom experiences. It also supported expanding the Club’s impact into response and recovery assistance by partnering with Safe Steps and You Matter to fund crisis and longer-term accommodation for 122 women and children currently in need. Fundraising efforts continued in 2025, with an additional $417,000 raised, supporting further program growth in 2026.

“On-field, we continued to invest fully in both our AFL and AFLW programs, utilising the maximum soft cap and Total Player Payments resources to attract, develop, and retain talent. With the soft cap limit increasing into the 2026 season, it has provided us the opportunity to strengthen and improve both football programs, starting with the addition of new coaches to the AFL program.

“Our AFLW team delivered its strongest home-and-away season to date, with multiple players receiving league-wide recognition. While our AFL results showed we still have a gap to close, we have already begun the hard work to reset and refresh this offseason, while making decisions that will not only benefit us in 2026 but set us up into the future.

“Our Carlton Academy also reached new levels, with continued drafting outcomes and the exciting allocation of the Murray Bushrangers region to our NGA zone. This opens new pathways for talent and deepens our engagement with regional communities.

“Once again, we thank our entire Carlton family for the unwavering support of the Navy Blue. The strength of our community underpins everything we do, and as we look ahead to 2026, we do so united in our ambition to become a consistently high-performing Club on and off the field.”
