CARLTON midfielder Brooke Vickers has signed a one-year contract extension, keeping her in the Navy Blue until at least the end of 2026.
Vickers arrived at IKON Park through the 2021 AFLW Draft and has played 33 games across five seasons at Carlton.
Heading into her sixth season in 2026, Vickers has been a team player ever since her debut in Round 3 of season six alongside close friend Keeley Sherar, providing her versatility in a number of roles while also being a constant source of energy for her teammates.
Earning her spot back in the side after an injury-interrupted start to the season, Vickers played every game from Round 5 onwards, including the Blues’ three finals.
Playing a key part in the side's Round 11 win over GWS, Vickers collected 18 disposals (half of which were contested), 299 metres gained, four inside 50s and three score involvements.
Head of AFLW Ash Naulty said Vickers is a true competitor who plays a selfless brand of football.
"Brooke is an adaptable player who works tirelessly to support her teammates across the field and is always ready to play any role thrown her way,” Naulty said.
“She brings such a positive vibe to our side and has forged some incredible friendships over the past five seasons.
“Brooke has shown a great level of resilience to come back better and stronger from an injury-ridden season last year , and we can’t wait to see what she can produce heading into 2026.”
