The Carlton Football Club has today welcomed AlphaFit as its High Performance partner.
An Australian-owned family business, AlphaFit specialise in complete gym fit-outs for a wide range of clients – from commercial gyms, schools and universities to sports clubs, performance centres, personal training studios and home gyms.
The Club was able to maximise AlphaFit’s expertise, re-fitting the Club’s gym at IKON Park in time for the start of AFL pre-season in just five weeks, taking the state-of-the-art facility to the next level in regard to an elite performance environment.
The entire fit-out process was made seamless thanks to AlphaFit’s dedicated sales and project manager overseeing the revamp from start to finish.
“The players walk in and know this gym is the centre piece for a world class facility,” Blues Head of High Performance Rob Innes said.
“We obviously had a really good upgrade here a few years ago and had a few good AlphaFit pieces throughout the gym and we have now upgraded the rig. The players walked in day one of this pre-season and were blown away – it was a good change for them and it helped freshen up the gym.
“The players in the early phase of their pre-season where they’re working on big training loads out on the field but we are also pushing them really hard in the gym – the team love it.”
