MARK the calendars for Wednesday 18 February.

Carlton’s first hit-out against external opposition will come in the middle of next month when the Blues head to Brisbane to take on the reigning premiers.

Playing against the Lions at Brighton Homes Arena - otherwise known as Michael Voss Oval - the contest will see the Blues put through their paces as preparations ramp up for the home-and-away season, kicking off against Sydney in Opening Round.

It was confirmed at the end of last year that Carlton would take on Geelong in the AAMI Community Series at IKON Park, meaning the Blues will get the best possible preparation for the 2026 season as they take on the two Grand Finalists from last season.

The match simulation with Brisbane will kick off at 5pm local time (6pm in Victoria), and will be comprised of four 30-minute quarters with an extended bench. There will be free entry for fans, with broadcasting details still to be confirmed.
