Seven AFL-listed players will face-off against Coburg in tomorrow night's VFL practice match at IKON Park.

Carlton fans will have the opportunity to see Nic Newman take the field for the first time since 2024, after a pre-season patella injury kept him sidelined him for the entirety of 2025.

Additionally, Frankie Evans and Lucas Camporeale have also been named in the side, while new Blue and Next Generation Academy draftee Jack Ison will get his first run at Blues footy, after being taken at pick No.47 in last year's draft.

The trio are joined by fellow AFL-listed players Harry Charleson, Robert Monahan, and Matthew Duffy, who have also been named in the squad of 30 tomorrow night.

With plenty of AFL talent listed, new Carlton Reserves talent will also be on show, with recent signings Darcy Tucker, Alwyn Davey Junior, and Jaiden Magor set to take the stage as VFL Blues for the first time.

Darcy Tucker joins our VFL side with over 150 games of AFL experience from both Fremantle and North Melbourne, while Alwyn Davey Junior and Jaiden Magor come to IKON Park from Essendon and Sydney respectively. The trio will be ones to watch in tomorrow night's hit-out, with a new-look VFL side on the horizon for 2026, lead by new Coach Damian Truslove.

The practice match against Coburg will kick off at 6:30pm, and consist of four 25 minute quarters with no time on.

Entry is free to all VFL practice matches unless a match is a curtain raiser to an AAMI Community Series - where standard AFL ticketing prices apply.
