CARLTON has named its squad of 26 to host Geelong in the AAMI Community Series at IKON Park on Wednesday night.

The Blues have named two additions to the team that took on Brisbane last week, with the squad size reduced from 28 to 26.

Patrick Cripps will pull on the Navy Blue for the first time in 2026 against opposition, having missed the clash with the Lions due to State of Origin commitments, and he'll be joined by the newly re-signed Sam Walsh.

He will be joined by Francis Evans, with the forward returning with the AFL squad after playing VFL last week, wearing protective eyewear after an incident in training during pre-season.

SSP signings Elijah Hollands and Wade Derksen have been named in the squad, with Derksen one of nine Blues without a senior Carlton game to pull on the jumper on Wednesday night.

Carlton will once again wear their Navy Blue training guernseys, with the return of the raised monogram to wait until the season proper.

Adam Cerra, Ben Camporeale, Hudson O’Keeffe and Billy Wilson come out of the side which ventured to Brisbane last week, as the Blues look to fine tune their preparations leading into the season opener against Sydney next Thursday night.

There were positive signs last week but expect things to step up a gear tomorrow night, before everything well and truly kicks off with the home-and-away season in Opening Round.
