TODAY’S VFL practice match between the Carlton Reserves and Richmond will be live-streamed.

The action begins at IKON Park from 1pm, and will be the Blues’ final practice match for the VFL season before their first game of the campaign in Round 2 against Williamstown.
Carlton will get the chance to welcome Nick Haynes back to the fold, with the veteran defender to feature for the first time in 2026 after off-season ankle surgery.
There’s a mix of experience and youth for the Blues, with Haynes joined by Blake Acres, while being complemented by the likes of draftees Jack Ison and Talor Byrne.
After playing in last week’s AFL season opener, Liam Reidy and Ashton Moir have both been named to feature, while there’s another chance for late SSP signing Wade Derksen to prove his wares down back.
From a VFL-listed perspective, Darcy Tucker returns to the fold alongside Alwyn Davey Junior, with the Blues to once again rotate a host of names through in the lead-up to their first game of the season in 17 days.
