IT'S 150 up for a pair of Blues.

Carlton’s Adam Cerra and defender Mitch McGovern will each run out on Thursday night for their respective 150th AFL games.

Cerra made the move to the Blues at the end of the 2022 trade period after playing 76 games for Fremantle.

Cerra has cemented himself as a crucial player in the Carlton midfield, bringing consistency, composure and unquestionable effort whenever he pulls on the jumper.

Averaging over 23 disposals during his time in the Navy Blue, Cerra has proven himself in the Carlton midfield, finishing third in the 2025 John Nicholls Medal following a 19-game season.

Adam Cerra will play his 150th game for Carlton in Gather Round.

Wearing the No.5 Navy Blue made famous by the likes of Syd Jackson, Andrew McKay and Chris Judd, Cerra’s best season arguably came in 2023, when he led the John Nicholls Medal prior to a late-season injury in a year where he featured in all three of Carlton’s finals.

Cerra will be joined for his milestone match by McGovern, who celebrated 100 games in Navy Blue just a fortnight ago.

Coming up against his former side Adelaide, McGovern’s move to IKON Park was made at the end of the 2018 trade period, where he was handed the famous No.11 jumper previously worn with distinction by Bruce Doull.

McGovern has played multiple roles throughout his time at Carlton, playing forward in his first few seasons, switching to an intercept defender in 2022 before making a return inside 50 as a genuine swingman for the Blues.

Strong overhead and with high football IQ, McGovern continues to provide a threat for the Blues, and his three kids Margot, Hamish and Addison are popular figures at IKON Park.

The duo’s milestone will come in the Gather Round opener on Thursday night, with the game against Adelaide kicking off 7:40pm AEST (7:10pm local time).
