SMALL forward Kym Lebois has signed a new one-year contract with the Club, keeping him on the rookie list until at least the end of the 2019 season.

Taken with Carlton’s first selection at No.5 in the 2016 rookie draft, the South Australian is renowned for his speed and evasiveness, as well as his canny goal sense.

Although he’s yet to make his senior debut, Lebois has played 22 games for the Northern Blues across two seasons, showing glimpses of his talent and potential.

Football smarts run in the family for Lebois, with the elusive forward related to former Essendon and Port Adelaide champion Gavin Wanganeen, as well as former Bomber Alwyn Davey.

With injuries also interrupting his first two seasons, Lebois will be looking to get his body right ahead of the Blues' pre-season campaign.
