CARLTON produced its first four-quarter performance of the season last weekend and its form is building heading into the AFL Women's preliminary finals, says skipper Brianna Davey.

Speaking Tuesday afternoon at the launch of the second AFLW Pride Game – to be played between Carlton and the Western Bulldogs at VU Whitten Oval on Sunday – Davey said the focus for last year's wooden-spooner had been on consistent improvement.

A win for the Blues will sew up a finals position in Conference B, while a loss will leave them hoping other results go their way.
