THE team is in.

Carlton has named the 22 tasked with taking on Richmond in tomorrow night’s season opener at the MCG.

And there isn’t a shortage of new faces, with six debutants named for the clash against the Tigers.

As announced by Brendon Bolton earlier on Wednesday, Alex Fasolo, Michael Gibbons, Mitch McGovern, Nic Newman, Will Setterfield and Sam Walsh will all play their first games for the Club.

They’re joined by the experience of Marc Murphy, who will become the 13th player in Carlton’s 155-year history to reach the 250-game milestone.

Patrick Cripps will lead the way in the middle in his first game as the joint captain of the Blues.

There are 13 changes to the team which last played a home-and-away game in the final round of 2018.
