The Carlton Football Club is today delighted to announce that the Club has reached 60,000 members for the first time in its decorated history.

The 2019 season has seen over 12,000 new Bluebaggers sign up as members, while the Club currently has the fourth highest membership renewal rate in the AFL.

Membership has grown almost 20 percent from the same time last year, from 50,908 to 60,000, leaving the Club in a strong position and in-line with targets to reach the goals set out in The Carlton Way.

CEO Cain Liddle thanked all 60,000 members who have committed to be #BoundByBlue this year.

“To all the proud and passionate Carlton members who have signed on this year, we say thank you,” Liddle said.

“You are the lifeblood of our club, we cannot express how much your support means to us. We are sharing every step of this journey together and it is your belief in the players, coaches and administration that has our entire club determined to achieve success.

“I would also like to give credit to our membership team who have worked tirelessly and are focused every day on providing the best experience possible for our members and supporters.”

Carlton has launched the Legends Lounge in 2019, a new membership package across Level 2 seating areas. That package is now sold out and members interested in joining the Legends Lounge for 2020 can now sign up to the waiting list.

Carlton was the first club to break its membership record this season, and now will set its sights on achieving a new target of 63,000 members by the end of the 2019 season.
