A CARLTON duo feature among the votes in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award for Round 10.

For the eighth time so far this year, captain Patrick Cripps once again polled, with his four-vote performance seeing him take his tally to 52 for the year.

Collecting 28 disposals and eight clearances in the loss to the Saints, Cripps - who had more contested possessions than anyone on the ground - did his best to will his side into the contest.

He sits five votes behind Geelong’s Tim Kelly in the leaderboard.

The captain was joined by a resurgent Levi Casboult among the votes against the Saints.

Stationed in his new role in defence for the third consecutive game, Casboult received two votes for his strong performance down back.

Recording the second-most one percenters out of anyone on the weekend, seven of Casboult’s 12 disposals were intercept possessions.
