Take a look at these lesser-known facts ahead of Monday night's Brownlow Medal count:

- It’s not beyond the realms of possibility that Patrick Cripps could enter the top 10 at Carlton for career Brownlow votes. At just 24 years of age, Cripps needs 31 votes - a tough ask by any means - to match Bryce Gibbs in 10th position on 80 votes.

- The task is even more tough when you consider that he would have to break a club record for most votes in a season. Greg Williams (1994) and Chris Judd’s (2010) 30-vote seasons yielded their second Brownlow Medals - the most votes from a Carlton player in the 3-2-1 system.

- Meanwhile, Marc Murphy is expected to progress up the Carlton vote-getter ranks even further, currently sitting in sixth position on 106 votes. Trailing Justin Madden by one vote and Bruce Doull by two votes, Murphy will have his eyes on polling 10 votes tonight: a feat which would see him match Chris Judd in third.

- Cripps and Murphy are two of just 10 Blues who have polled Brownlow Medal votes for Carlton. They are joined by Charlie Curnow, Ed Curnow, Sam Docherty, Liam Jones, Matthew Kreuzer, Sam Petrevski-Seton, Kade Simpson and Dale Thomas.

- Now a Blue, former Crow Mitch McGovern has polled two Brownlow career votes. When did they come? Against Carlton, in Round 7 of the 2018 season.

- Could Levi Casboult break his Brownlow curse tonight? The key forward had played 104 games with no return prior to this season. His best chances will come in Round 19 against Adelaide and Round 22 against St Kilda.

- After 150 games, Michael Jamison leads Carlton in the ‘reverse Brownlow’ — the most games without a Brownlow Medal vote. Jamison pipped long-time teammate Dennis Armfield, who retired on 145 games without a vote.

- It’s unlikely that Sam Walsh will knock Andrew Walker off his perch as the most recent Carlton debutant to poll. Walsh - who could poll on a number of times throughout the night - collected 24 disposals on debut against Richmond, but there looks to be a few players ahead of him.

- At the other end, it’s no surprise than the Club’s games record-holder Craig Bradley has polled the most votes with 144 votes.

- In previous seasons, the Club awarded the Peter Sullivan Memorial Trophy for the Carlton player who polled the most votes in the Brownlow Medal. Winners include Peter Dean (1991), Darren Hulme, Adrian Hickmott (both in 2001, alongside Bradley) and Corey McKernan (2003).
