SIX Blues, 30 votes.

It was a Carlton clean sweep in the AFL coaches’ votes for Round 15.

On a night where three midfielders shared the spoils, it was an indication of the team effort of the Blues in their 23-point triumph over GWS.

It was a night where Carlton’s on-ball brigade well and truly got going, with captain Patrick Cripps, co-vice captain Sam Walsh and the experienced George Hewett unable to be split.

Receiving eight votes each, the trio all had 30 disposals or more and at least five clearances in a game where the Blues dominated out of the middle.

They weren’t alone in the middle of the ground, with rising star Jagga Smith continuing his exceptional first season in Navy Blue with a four-vote showing.

Only Cripps (49) and Walsh (44) have received more coaches’ votes than Smith’s 26 in his first season of football.

Rounding out the votes were a pair of defenders returning to New South Wales, with former Giant Nick Haynes and ex-Swan Nic Newman receiving a vote apiece.
