GOING old school for the old enemy.
Carlton has officially confirmed its 1926 Heritage guernsey, to be worn in next week’s clash with Collingwood.
In conjunction with Apparel partner PUMA, the Blues are circling back 100 years, wearing the monogram last seen permanently on the Navy Blue guernsey in 1926.
Winning a fan vote at the end of last year, the guernsey is in traditional dark navy and features interlocking white letters with curlicue detail on the front.
The Carlton jumper has adorned a variation of the monogram dating back to 1909, with the Heritage guernsey a throwback to the monogram which featured on the Blues’ guernsey from 1910 to 1926.
Given the game will be an away clash for the Blues, it will be accompanied by the white shorts - on a night where the Magpies will be wearing their own retro guernsey.
