FOR THE second straight week, a former Swan will reach 200 AFL games when pulling on the Navy Blue jumper this weekend at the MCG.

Seven days after best mate Ollie Florent marked his milestone with a win, Will Hayward will make reach a double century in the AFL.

Hayward was drafted to the Swans in the first round of the 2016 AFL Draft, linking up with Florent and going on to play 184 games in the red and white.

It was at the end of 2025 when a blockbuster Deadline Day move saw Hayward arrive IKON Park, helping revitalise not only the Blues’ forward half, but their energy and spirit behind the scenes.

A much-loved teammate already, Hayward - who is approaching 250 AFL career goals - has earned the respect of his teammates, coaches and fans in a short amount of time, giving 100 per cent in both his traditional role up forward or his new role on the wing.

The Blues will be looking to make it two extra reasons to celebrate on Saturday night with a significant test approaching, as Sam Walsh will also line up for his 150th AFL game against Hawthorn.
