THE PERFECT venue for finals football.
Carlton has learned its fate for the opening week of AFLW finals football, with an IKON Park showing in the offing against North Melbourne.
The qualifying final has been confirmed by the AFL to take place at 4.05pm AEDT on Saturday 7 November.
Saturday is set to be a historical moment for the Carlton Football Club, with it being the first ever qualifying final for the AFLW program.
The last time they met, Carlton fought hard against a quality opponent in North Melbourne at Arden Street, but slipped away in the final term by just 10 points. The Blues will be looking to continue their form from their win against Brisbane in Round 12, which saw them come from behind and seal a thrilling five-point win on the road.
In what will be the Blues’ second consecutive finals series, they will be looking to reclaim the home finals form of 2025, where they triumphed in their first two finals against West Coast and Hawthorn.
AFLW finals tickets will go on sale at 11am for members and 1pm for the general public on Monday 2 November.
We will close the double header at IKON Park on Saturday, with Geelong v Melbourne to kick off at 1.05pm, followed by North Melbourne v Carlton at 4.05pm.
