HISTORY will be made in navy blue this Saturday.

Abbie McKay has been named to make her AFLW debut for Carlton, when the Blues head down the highway to take on Geelong at GMHBA Stadium.

The first father-daughter selection in the game’s history will don the No.5 guernsey: the same number which dad Andrew wore with esteem for 244 games.

McKay has been named on the interchange for the Round 4 game, as the Blues look to make it consecutive wins after last week’s triumph against GWS.

She is one of two inclusions for the clash with the Cats, as Rhiannon Watt makes her return for her second senior game.

Kirby Bentley and Breann Moody make way after being omitted.

Tayla Harris has been named at half-forward following her starring performance in the win over GWS. Harris had her one-match suspension overturned by the AFLW tribunal on Wednesday night.

After four goals against Geelong in the practice match a month ago, captain Bri Davey has also been named at full forward.

The game on Saturday begins at 4:45pm from GMHBA Stadium.
