THE Northern Blues have named speedy duo Matthew Cottrell and Cameron Polson for tomorrow’s trip to Casey Fields.

Returning for his first game in nearly a month, Polson has been named in the forward pocket in a welcome inclusion for the Blues.

He’s joined by Cottrell as an inclusion into the starting line-up, after the Carlton rookie travelled to Perth last weekend as the holdover emergency.

The 19-year-old had been in positive form prior to last weekend, named in the bests on the last two occasions.

Darcy Lang comes out of the side which took on Geelong in Round 13, with his standout performance seeing him rewarded with AFL selection.

Kane Keppel, Ethan Penrith and Marcus Stavrou are potential inclusions, while Oscar White reprises his role as 23rd man after a previous stint earlier in the season.

While the positives were there in Northern’s performance last week, they’ll be hoping to build on those signs and turn it into a crucial win against the ninth-placed Demons. For the second straight week, the Blues will take on the team directly above them on the VFL ladder.

The game will once again be live-streamed on the Carlton Football Club YouTube channel.
