CARLTON forward Tayla Harris will line up against her former side this Saturday night, as the Blues return to Ikon Park ready to face the Brisbane Lions.

After suffering a knock to her shoulder in the dying stages of last week’s clash with GWS, the 20-year-old was monitored all week and passed fitness tests to be named in the team.

Traded to Carlton from the Lions last year, Harris is averaging 10 disposals and four marks per game this season.

Also named in the line-up is Katie-Jayne Grieve, who will make her debut this week. Taken with pick No.12 in the 2017 NAB AFLW Rookie Draft, the West Australian is a pacey outside midfielder looking to make her mark.

With captain Brianna Davey sidelined for the remainder of the season with an ACL injury, the Blues were forced to make at least one change to this week’s side.

Senior coach Damien Keeping will also miss for a second successive week as he recovers from illness, with interim coach Nick Rutley taking the reins again.

Make sure you head to Ikon Park this Saturday night to catch our AFLW team in action. With the game kicking off at 7:45pm, fans are encouraged to attend the Club’s Hyundai Family Match on the northern lawn prior to the clash.
