Coaching the midfield, Salopek arrives at the Blues having played 121 games for Port Adelaide across nine seasons.
Since retiring from his AFL career, Salopek has remained involved in the football community, coaching and developing young talent alongside Harford at St Kevin’s College.
Originally coming to Carlton as the defensive coach, 2022 will be Salopek's first year coaching the midfield group, after the addition of Carlton defender Nic Newman.
