WE’RE in.

In its second straight AFLW finals appearance, Carlton will host Brisbane in a semi final on Sunday at Ikon Park.

While it’s the first time the Blues will face Brisbane in an AFLW final, it will be the second time they play one at Ikon Park, after hosting Fremantle for a chance to advance to the Grand Final last year.

Last time these two teams met, the Blues claimed a 16-point victory, with forward duo Tayla Harris and Brooke Walker each kicking two majors.

Star midfielder Madison Prespakis also had a day to remember with 27 disposals.

Carlton, who finished second in Conference B, did not get the chance to face Brisbane in the home-and-away season but will be right up to the challenge when the siren goes at 1.10pm AEDT on Sunday.

The Game Changers are coming off four straight wins and finished the home-and-away season with five wins and one loss.

While a crowd is not permitted on Sunday, the Game Changers know the Bluebaggers will be there in spirit and encourage everyone to show their virtual support in the lead-up to the game.

The match will be broadcast on both Channel 7 and FOX Footy, giving Bluebaggers the opportunity to follow on from home.

The winner of this game will face the winner of North Melbourne’s semi final against Collingwood in a preliminary final, which will take place next weekend.

The AFLW Grand Final will be played on the weekend of April 4-5.
