AS PART of Carlton Media’s commitment to keep members and fans connected during the AFL shutdown, David Teague took to Twitter to answer your questions.

Here are a few of the best:

Any chance we can get Maddie to help out Cripps and the mids our next season? – Saad

DT: What Maddy has achieved in the first two seasons has been exceptional, isn't it? I've got no doubt what she really wants to add is a premiership to Ikon Park!

Any injury updates on the big fella Kreuzer? – Jaymz

DT: Not as yet - he's tracking as planned. We'll know a lot more as the rehab continues.

Which player are you most excited about for season 2020 based on their isolation form and what you have been told when footy resumes? – Mark

DT: Jack Martin's Round 1 performance has got me even more excited than I was in pre-season. A lot of our guys are training really hard right now: Setterfield, Samo, Marchbank, McKay. There's still a lot to be discussed about footy resuming: we'll find out more in the coming weeks.

How much of an effect do you think this interrupted season will have on pre-season training, playing lists and next season? – FDR

DT: It's a good question, but we're not quite sure yet as it depends on when we finish. If our players attack next year as they attacked this year, I'll be super happy.

What’s the spirit like amongst the playing group atm? – Jacqueline

DT: The spirit has been really positive! The way they've been reaching out to each other and training in pairs has been super impressive. I know they're super excited to be back playing but they're coping very well at the moment.

GDay coach! How have you been keeping up in touch with the boys in this period? and which player do you think is playing the most video games while at home? – Ali

DT: Carrier pigeon and smoke signals, although I'm having trouble getting the smoke signals off today. Zac Fisher would be clearly leading the video game race.

I’m really interested to know what the club is doing to support players and officials' mental health at this time? Any different measures implemented? – Maurice

DT: We're having regular catch-ups in small groups: we've also got our welfare officer, psychologist and doctor who are on hand for everyone. We're challenging all players and staff to maintain a routine and healthy lifestyle choices.
