OVERVIEW
Bryce Gibbs proved one of Carlton’s most versatile players in Season 2013, playing up forward, down back and through the midfield. The 24-year-old had a solid finish to the season, and was instrumental in the come-from-behind win over Port Adelaide at AAMI Park, the last match at the ground where Gibbs played much of his junior football.

Carlton’s No.4 was the subject of trade speculation mid-season, to which coach Mick Malthouse responded by declaring Gibbs “untouchable”.

Gibbs also continued in his role as Ambassador for the Pratt Cup, raising awareness of prostate cancer.

THEY SAID IT
"I can categorically tell you that Gibbs and Kreuzer are untouchable. I don't know how plain I can make that. Do I need to make it any plainer?” – Mick Malthouse on trade rumours, Friday 4 July.

SEASON HIGHLIGHT
Bryce Gibbs ran out for his 150th AFL match in the Round 20 clash with the Western Bulldogs, becoming the second youngest person in Carlton’s history to reach the milestone, behind Robert Walls.

On a personal level, Gibbs rates his season highlight as the Elimination Final win over Richmond, a match in which he picked up a team-high 27 disposals.
