CARLTON has confirmed its team of 22 for Sunday’s clash with the Western Bulldogs.

After naming an extended squad last night, the Blues have confirmed one change, with Matthew Kennedy to play his first game of the 2020 season.

Kennedy comes into the side replacing youngster Sam Philp, who has been omitted.

Kennedy has been the standout performer of the Club’s recent reserves games, playing primarily as an inside midfielder.

He was described by development coach Daniel O’Keefe as the team’s best performer in the clashes with Geelong and Essendon, with his ability to win clearances and hit the scoreboard.

Kennedy joins Kade Simpson, Harry McKay and Mitch McGovern on the listed interchange.

Philp will be an emergency alongside Zac Fisher, Callum Moore and Cameron Polson.

Sunday night’s game begins at 6:45pm AEST: it will be Blue Lachie Plowman’s 100th AFL game.
