The Carlton Football Club is pleased to announce its spiritual home will now be known as Ikon Park.

Carlton captain Marc Murphy and president Mark LoGiudice made the announcement on Monday, to coincide with Michael Jamison and Bryce Gibbs being named as Blues vice-captains.

Ikon Services Australia is an Australian owned business that was founded in 1999, providing cleaning and property services, as well as waste management solutions. Some of the company’s high-profile contracts include Crown Casino, Federation Square, Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, Melbourne Market and the National Gallery of Victoria.

Owner of Ikon Services Australia George Tahan is a long-time Carlton person and said today marked a significant milestone for his company.

“Having been a Carlton person all my life, it is a proud day for my company and my family. We are delighted to strengthen our long-standing partnership with an icon of Australian sport," Tahan said.

Carlton president Mark LoGiudice welcomed the announcement.

“As president of this football club, it’s a very proud day when we can name two exceptional young men in Michael Jamison and Bryce Gibbs to support our captain Marc Murphy, as well as welcome a new level of support from long-time partner Ikon Services Australia,” LoGiudice said.

“George and his team have grown a successful business centered on a culture of high standards and the firm belief that their staff are their most important asset.

“I look forward to seeing Carlton and Ikon build a new chapter of success together.”
