Carlton has made one change ahead of their Round 4 match against Sydney at the SCG on Saturday afternoon.

Running defender Dennis Armfield comes into the side at the expense of recently promoted rookie, Jeff Garlett.

Armfield dominated at VFL level last weekend, collecting 34 possessions from half-back.

The Blues have named Steven Browne, Setanta O’hAilpin and Heath Scotland as emergencies.
