Following consultation with Carlton’s medical team and match committee, Cameron Cloke has today decided to undergo surgery on his injured left shoulder.

This decision means Cameron will miss the remainder of the 2007 season.

“After discussions with the club, our doctors and my family, I decided that it’s in my best interests to have the operation now, allowing me to concentrate on getting my shoulder right and commence preparations for 2008,” Cloke said.

Cloke will undergo surgery early next week.
