CARLTON will complete its stay in Western Australia when it comes up against an in-form Fremantle on Saturday night.

Both teams enter the contest with a four and six record from 10 games, with the Dockers coming into the contest with two consecutive victories.

Carlton and Fremantle have both persisted with a young core throughout 2020, with players aged 23 or under getting plenty of opportunities.

On average, the Blues’ side has featured eight players in the age bracket this season, while the Dockers are averaging 9.4 per game.

The ability to score from turnover has been a benchmark for both teams having success in 2020. In wins, Carlton and Fremantle are averaging 48 and 41.8 points from intercepts respectively: in losses, the average drops to 38 and 22 respectively.

It’s no surprise where all eyes will turn to on Saturday night, when the 2019 Brownlow Medallist and 2019 AFLPA MVP go head-to-head: Nat Fyfe and Patrick Cripps.

Both captains have lifted in the last fortnight, and the respective opposition will be well and truly aware of what they’re capable of. Fyfe has averaged 30 disposals against Carlton since 2017, while Cripps had 38 disposals the last time he played against Fremantle in 2018.

A fellow West Australian is the focus of Fantasy Watch this week, and it was pretty hard to take your eyes off of Zac Fisher last weekend.

Available as a midfielder and a forward, Fisher’s four goals saw him produce a score of 78 in his return to the senior side.
