After arriving at Ikon Park with selection No.3 in the 2019 rookie daft, Honey went on to make his debut in Round 12 this season, marking the occasion with a memorable come-from-behind win over Fremantle.

Carlton Head of List Management Nick Austin said the Club was pleased to have Honey on board for another year.

“Josh has eye-catching pace, which is a real strength of his and we are encouraging him to showcase that at every opportunity,” Head of List Management Nick Austin said.

“He is also putting in a mountain of work with our Head of Development Luke Power this year to develop other areas of his game and we are seeing some strong performances in his reserves games as a result.

“We have no doubt Josh will continue his high work rate and continue to push for selection to add to his first game in the Navy Blue guernsey.”
