For the second consecutive week, two Blues have secured a spot in AFL Media’s ‘Team of the Week’.

Experienced head Matthew Kreuzer and youngster Samo Petrevski-Seton made it into the line-up following impressive individual performances in Carlton’s 23-point victory over Collingwood on Saturday.

With 15 disposals (14 contested), six clearances, seven tackles and two goal assists to his name, Kreuzer was selected in the Round 7 team as a follower alongside Fremantle’s Lachie Neale and St Kilda’s Jack Steven.

In the match that afforded Petrevski-Seton the Round 7 NAB AFL Rising Star nomination, the 19-year-old collected 22 possessions and booted two goals to earn his place in the best 22 after only his seventh AFL game.

The former No.6 draft pick was selected as a forward alongside experienced Eagle Mark LeCras and North Melbourne spearhead Jarrad Waite.

As two consistent contributors for the Blues, the side will hope the pair can recapture their form on Saturday when Carlton takes on St Kilda at Etihad Stadium.
