Overview:

Inaugural Blue Lauren Brazzale reached new levels of consistency in her fifth year in Navy Blue, playing all nine games of Carlton's 2021 campaign.

Maintaining her position on the wing throughout the year, Brazzale added valuable run and a certain excitement to the Blues' midfield mix.

Impacting the scoreboard at times, Brazzale proved an integral link between defence and attack to provide her side plenty of opportunities as the season went on.

Best Performance:

Mirroring the performances of several of her fellow Blues, Brazzale's standout performance in season 2021 came against the Suns at Metricon Stadium.

Notching her own major to contribute to Carlton's record-breaking 87-point victory, Brazzale was at her speedy best in Queensland: she finished the day with 13 disposals, two tackles, three marks and her goal.

All said and done, Brazzale finished amongst the Blues' best in what was their most convincing win of 2021.

Season highlight:

Away from home in enemy territory, Brazzale brought her best up forward.

Facing the Kangaroos in the Blues' Round 5 clash in Launceston, Brazzale was the willing recipient of a crafty pass inside 50 off the boot of Darcy Vescio.

From there, Brazzale switched on the afterburners to slot her second major of the year and claw back an early North Melbourne lead.
