Georgia Gee picked up right where she left off in 2021, cementing herself as one of Carlton's most exciting youngsters.

The 21-year-old was a key link between the Blues' midfield and forward line, having an impact through the centre while finding scoring opportunities going inside 50.

Playing all nine AFLW games in 2021, Gee has fast become a fan favourite among Bluebaggers, particularly as part the 'velcro' partnership with fellow young gun Maddy Prespakis.

The pairing were inseparable from start to finish, even as far as being Carlton's two representatives in the 22under22 side: it was Gee's second consecutive selection in the side.

BEST PERFORMANCE

Gee wasted no time in season 2021, turning on her best when the Blues faced the Bulldogs in their fifth annual pride game in Round 2.

Effortlessly transitioning between the midfield and forward line, Gee gathered 17 possessions, eight tackles and four score involvements to keep the Blues in contention for most of the night before they were overrun by a valiant Bulldogs.

The highlight of her performance came with her first goal of the year, but we won't spoil that just yet.

There were really no words for how slick Gee's first goal of the season was at Whitten Oval.

A crafty pass to Grace Egan, then back and through the hands of Katie Loynes set up what had to be one of the craftiest goals of Carlton's season.
